Revlon Remains in Chapter 11 as Net Sales Decline in Q3 2022

Revlon Inc. today announced its results for the quarter ended September 30, 2022.
 
As Reported net sales were $468.4 million in the third quarter of 2022, compared to $521.1 million during the prior-year period, a decrease of $52.7 million. The As Reported net sales decrease of $52.7 million includes unfavorable FX impacts totaling $25.8 million, resulting in a $26.9 million decrease on an XFX basis.
 
Revlon’s Q3 performance follows the business’ lackluster second quarter results.

Financial Restructuring and Chapter 11 Process

On June 15, 2022, the company commenced a voluntary Chapter 11 financial restructuring supported by $575 million of new money debtor-in-possession financing. As of November 8, 2022, the company remains in Chapter 11.
